AMBASSADORS OF GOSPEL MUSIC

I’m Darren James, a resident from Chehalis, Washington, where I was born and raised. I became a Christian and asked Jesus into my heart when I was 4 years old as a result of my mom taking us kids to church. It was at a Pentecostal Camp Meeting Tabernacle on cherry street in Centralia where I found the Lord. My pastor let me sing during the end of the service and the song I sang was entitled “God is so good.” This is when my singing experience first began. As the years went by one day I went into a crusade in Napa Vine Washington where the Lord filled me with the Holy Ghost while I played during the service. The year was 1987 when the Lord gave me a gift of rhythm to play the drums and then a year later He gave me the ability to play music on the piano and keyboard. During those years of my music experience I sang in concerts, Church Easter and Christmas programs tent revivals, music events, camp meetings, crusades, community choirs, and fairs. I also sang in the talent show competition and placed second on the north lawn stage at the SW-WA fair for 10 years and had a great time doing it. I also got involved with the Rivers of Life Jail ministry band since June 2007 and then during March 2008 the Lord led Bro Carl Hendrix and I to start a new music program at our church, Calvary Assembly of God,  called Twin City Gospel Jubilee and we have had very good attendance during each concert. Then again I joined another Christian music band  called The Awakening and we are making CDS and music videos They are also on UTube. And on the internet. And then later on in January 2010 I now joined with the AGM I thank the Lord for the past many years of singing music and the gift He has given to me to play the drums and the keyboards I an looking forward to making my first album recording CD very soon it will be entitled “Clean Again.” My Christian friends are going to help me make and produce this CD at the studio in the Olympia area. I thank the Lord for the things He has done and for what He has in store. I love Him very much and thank Him for the price He paid at Calvary.
